In a world that’s busy, noisy, and often confusing, we all long for one deep and honest thing: to be loved and accepted just as we are. But many times, we look for that love in the wrong places—through people who are limited, in our achievements, or in worldly recognition. We forget that there is a love that never changes, no matter the season or circumstance: the love of God.
Jesus says in John 14:21, “Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love them and show Myself to them.”
Just imagine—Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth, wants to be close to us. He wants to reveal Himself to us—not only to prophets, not only to saints, but to anyone who loves Him and follows His word. That includes you and me.
To live in God’s love is not just about praying or going to church once a week. It’s much more than that. Living in God’s love means letting Him be the center of our lives—in our thoughts, in our decisions, and in our relationships. When we truly love Him, obeying Him no longer feels like a burden, but becomes an act of love. Following His word becomes a joy, not a duty.
Maybe you feel far from God right now. Maybe you’ve failed, sinned, or feel unworthy. But God’s love is not like human love. He doesn’t love you because you are perfect. He loves you because He is love. And His love never gives up on you.
Jesus promised that the Father would send the Holy Spirit, the true Helper, to live in us—to guide, to comfort, and to remind us of His love. We are not walking alone. In every struggle, every sorrow, every moment of loneliness—He is there, staying with us.
The love of this world will fade, but God’s love is eternal. He is waiting for us to come back, to remain in His presence, and to live in His word.
Today, let us open our hearts once again. Let us come home. Living in His love is not just for today, but for eternity.
“Lord, I want to live in Your love. Don’t let me drift away. I know only Your love can fill the emptiness inside me.”
Amen.
