Puasa sejati bukanlah kehilangan, tetapi pemulihan. Bukan sekadar penyangkalan diri, tetapi sebuah jalan untuk mengalami kasih yang lebih dalam. Ketika kita berpuasa dengan hati yang benar—bukan untuk pamer kesalehan, tetapi untuk bertobat dan membuka diri kepada kasih Tuhan—maka kita akan menemukan hati Yesus yang selalu siap menyembuhkan, mengampuni, dan membawa kita kembali ke pelukan-Nya.

Sering kali, kita ingin mengikuti Yesus tanpa salib. Kita ingin berkat-Nya, tetapi menolak penderitaan. Kita ingin kemuliaan, tetapi enggan berkorban. Tetapi Yesus berkata dengan tegas: “Barangsiapa kehilangan nyawanya karena Aku, ia akan menyelamatkannya” (Luk 9:24).

Mungkin hari ini Tuhan sedang berbicara ke hati kita. Dia berkata: “Kembalilah, anak-Ku. Aku merindukanmu. Aku ingin memulihkan hidupmu.” Kembali dengan Segenap Hati Hari ini Tuhan memanggil kita untuk kembali dengan sungguh-sungguh. Jangan hanya bertobat di mulut, tapi bertobat di hati. Jangan hanya beribadah secara lahiriah, tapi biarkan Tuhan mengubah batin kita. Jangan menunda lagi, karena hari ini adalah waktu perkenanan itu!

Maka, bukankah inilah pelajaran hidup yang paling sederhana sekaligus paling sulit? Bahwa dalam segala hal, kita tidak dipanggil untuk menuntut atau memaksakan apa yang kita anggap berhak kita terima, tetapi untuk menengadahkan tangan dengan penuh iman dan membiarkan Tuhan mengisinya?
