This article presents biblical and theological reasons why education should be a parental priority. Drawing on Proverbs 22:6, Pope John Paul II's teaching on the family as the first school of social virtue, and Thomas Aquinas's view of the responsibility to guide children toward a good life, education is understood not simply as the transfer of knowledge, but as participation in God's work—forming faithful, moral, and mature individuals. Education is presented as a moral calling whose value far exceeds ceremonial pomp.
